I thought you're not supposed to overfill it at all. I put exactly 5.8 quarts in mine so I dont go over. You guys sure it won't hurt if it's a 1/2 qt over?? Spun rod bearing are usually not an issue with the regular duratecs. It's usually the Svt's that have that problem. I have not seen a regular 2.5 yet with a spun rod bearing due to oil starvation.
