When I changed the H2O pump on my '98.5 CSVT at 108k miles I found the white impeller in apparently perfect shape. Your '00 should have the white impeller, which last a looooong time, unlike the black impeller pumps where the plastic gets brittle and breaks. Leave it be for now, and enjoy your trip!
