Ok, so maybe it is just the fact that I don't come here that often since I don't actually have a Contour (yet) but I discovered something the other day that made me jump for joy. I was looking around on car domains and seeing what mondeos they had listed there. I was in the middle of bitching to my roomate about how the parents of some rich brat in Mexico bought him a mondeo when my jaw suddenly dropped. Mondeo in Mexico?
Nah, something this cool couldn't possibly be true.
So hoping against all hope I clicked over to Ford Mexico (
Ford Mexico) where, sure enough, they are selling 2004 Ford Mondeos. I was so happy I almost ran screaming down the halls of my dorm room.
Anyway, I sent an email over to Western Cascade (an import company located here in the Seattle area that does a lot of work importing cars from Canada) to see what they know about importing cars from Mexico. Now, I am probably about a year out from looking at buying a Contour/Mondeo but suddenly discovering that I don't have to ship a car across an ocean to have the one I want has really gotten me excited!
