First: 3LPOWER, Thanks for a great explanation.
Second: I haven't looked so I'm asking, Does the SVT have crush or mandrel bends?

Stock SVT cat-back has mandrel bends.

Mr. Bernoulli explains it well; the speed of the gas on the outside of a bend necessarily travels faster than that on the inside of a bend, and there is friction as a result. When you have turbulence on the inside of a bend, as a result of crushing pipe, the friction is increased, and the gas moves slower as a result.

I know speed of the gas on the outside of the bend goes faster then the inside of bend and it gets to the pont of creating a vortex which is not good a chush at the right place and right size will reduce the vortex and make for a better flow so mandrel or chush? Stills applies the best for reducing vortex is call (Cobra Neck) bend.

ROTFLMAO!! This post is funny. And how exactly do you determine where to put these "cobra necks"? If they're so important to get correct placement, that means LOTS of time in R&D and frankly, an exhaust is not worth that type of money. Unless you're Mr. McFast..Oh, you are ....well nevermind, carry on and make sure you get back to us when it's all laid out so we can pull that extra 49 hp that's getting caught up in pesky mandrel bends.

Well the same thing could be said for mandrel bends is it worth the cost? that is all that I am saying. Show it to me on a dyno!
