Sleeper- What else did TH do with the used trans besides install the Quaife? Then did you drop your old tranny and put in the TH'd tranny by yourself?

That's a great idea SleeperZ. You should do that Rob. That would make things easier for you I think. I will be moving up to Oak Harbor in the next few weeks since I got a permanent position finally. I might be able to help you on the weekends...depends what weekend though. Give me a call and we'll arrange something hopefully.

Yeah, I don't think you guys understand the time crunch I'm in. I really can't have the car down for weeks. 2 weeks max starting on Sunday, hoping on 1 week. So buying another tranny and having it shipped out to Terry is great and all, but I don't think it works for me. We'll see what happens I guess.

I had TH upgrade all the internals, replace anythiing that looked broken (or about to break), and install new seals and bearings (and any other part that looked worn). Then of course add the LSD. He also added some sort of internal lubricating channels. I had a local machine shop do a plating/coating that makes the internals like 10-15% stronger and they lightened my flywheel a few pounds. Had a local shop do the pull and replace, got a good price, $615.

Rallitek is doing the LSD install for me! Week after Valentines day. Really cool guys and just by being there for 30 minutes or so they really impressed me. Talked to the mechanic that will be doing the work and he is the one that ok'd it and the other guy and I just BS'd about cars. So I'll let you guys know how it goes.
