I must have had a unique user experience. I had not a problem with my eMachines tower from 1999-2004 when I parted with it. It served to be a wonderful machine, which is much more than can be said of the new packages that were bought and returned at Wal-Mart where I worked this past summer (we had a 50% return rate of those things). I would trust an old eMachines, but never a new one.
