im so annoyed with cleaning glass.. and what really sucks abotu it is getting linty cloths. even cloths that say "lint-free" still leave me trying to blow stuff off of my glass.. is there a magical product that i can use that wont leave me wondering why the heck i bought it? or some cheap quick tips?

I have heard of using newspaper, I have never done it. But you may wanna try it.

Yes, if you have the time to use newspaper it works, no streaks or lint. But what I do is just take a damp towl after drying the exterior and wipe down the inside of the windows, it works well and there is usually no lint. HTH

Newspaper. Works great, especially on insides of windshields. No streaks.

What's That Film?
That terrible film on the inside
of your windows is from plastics
used in interior parts, your
body oils, over-application of
interior cleaners and dressings
that evaporate into the air. Heat
adds to the problem.
I got this from a very knowledgable car detailer friend of mine. Made sense to me. I use microfiber towels. I might be weird but when I find a company that impresses me I try all there products that catch my attention. I started out using Griots Garage microfiber waffer drying towel. then used their polish/wax microfiber towel, then I used their widow microfiber towels. I can say I am sold on them all. I use almost all their product. I am sure you can find MF towels from other companies and such, but this might give you an idea on what to look for.

I know what you mean about the lint. I have noticed that when it's humid out, or when it's really cold, that the lint goes right to the glass. Perhaps the coffee filters, since there is no ink or glue in those...

I'm sure u guys keep your cars detailed much more than me..but i hate streaked windows...what has worked for me is a mini window squezee by turtle wax..leaves no streaks at all...its a little tedious doing the side windows because of the shape...but it beats thinking your windows are clean and then someones headlights shine on them and u see windows really areant "squeaky" clean

never heard of coffee filters... im gonna give those a try. the newspaper does sound a bit sketchy especially with the ink on it.. but you know what maybe ill try both and see which i like better... thanks for the tips!
