I oned a POS one when I was around 17. Got more tickets with it than w/o. I've been driving for 15 years and my only tickets were when I had a radar. Experiance will get you far. You can tell after a few years what you should and shouldn't do. Stay with the flow and keep it a tick under 80 on the freeway. Stay in the right lane except to pass i.e. don't weave in and out of traffic like an ass. Keep your eye on oncoming traffic. And if you do get pulled over don't lie. Also keep all papers ready in the glove box. Also helps not looking like a douche bag. Keep a decent hair cut and dress. Look respectable. Helps not no have a red 2 door as well.
