FWIW, Pioneer's MP3 HU just made it into Pioneer's own stock this week. It should begin arriving at your local and online retailers soon. I found this out by pestering Pioneer after having the unit on backorder at Crutchfield for a month. It is rather annoying that they take orders so far in advance of receiving stock with no estimate for when they expect to receive their first shipment. Then again, if they hadn't posted it, I would have a Rockford Fosgate unit in my dash right now and be kicking myself when Pioneer finally shipped. (Crutchfield still doesn't have an ETA when a checked a few days ago).
