Just curious what you guys have on the car right now and how you like them. I need new tires. Since I don't run separate winter tires, I need an all-season, performance tire. Recommendations?

I ran Potenza 950's and they did good all around, good for the snow too. You can always get your old tires sniped if they aren't working for the winter. But I liked my potenza's so HTH.

I run Kumho Ecsta 711's but they're strictly a summer tire...my first set of low profile tires so I couldnt' tell you how good they are compared to others though

Potenzas were the best I ever had on my SVT - had two different ones though - the second set the RE950 were good but I didnt think they ultimatly had the grip of the first set- but i dont remember the first sets number- but i would without a doubt look into some potenzas!!

Ben, I'm running 225/45/16s right now. I really like them. They're the Yoko AVS ES 100s, so they're a summer tire...but I've heard good stuff about the Continental Coniextremes (or whatever they're called... ). I'd highly recommend lookin' at a 225/45, though.

Yokohoma Parada Spec 2's.....I love them. I had kuhmos when I just replaced my stocks then when I got rims I went to these. Very quiet and grab nice. Not to rainy or very many weather condidtion in Vegas, but the couple times it did rain I was impressed.

I've got Dunlop SP Sport 8000's. Never seen anything but sunshine except when I wash it. They grip really nice and I think they're quiet. Too much noise from the Bassani to tell but I don't mind at all.

Potenza RE950s
Good on dry
Good in wet
Great straight line driving/stopping grip in snow. They're biggest problem is turning in the snow. Ice...well duh!
Between four sets of wheels and ten different tires on two FWD cars these are THE BEST all around tire I've used, hands down. They're probably going on the Audi once my current tires give out. I think if you had them siped they would do much better gripping through the turns in snow.
Second would be the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's(better dry, lesser wet, snow about the same)
Third would be Yokohama Aegis LS4's(decent dry, good wet, excellent snow-siped)

Looks like re950's are pretty popular. I'm going to see if I can find a local retailer with a decent price. Thanks for the advice, fellas. I'll let you know if I find a good place to buy.
