As far as being legal, I would say that it would only be illegal if you didn't disclose that it's not actual mileage when you sold the car. By the way, does any one know this: My Contour is a '98 but it was built in 4/97. Would I need a "Pre 98" cluster or a "98+" cluster??? Thanks in advance. kk
