That is why my tach came off a 95 GL Zetec right? 
The wiring is different, since we hooked our tach signal wire directly to the tach itself, it will work no matter what. 
Yeah but mine reads the right rpm. 
I already posted what would happen if he used a V6 tach, He said he just wanted it for liiks anyway.
