Precisely what color is Arctic White? A shade of grey, or pure white?

Wow... that'll be one hell of a paint job then. See if he can get you one of the cars though. If not to own, to drive while your's is being painted. I say it'll give the car a unique aspect, but it will get dirty very easily. From past experiences with white, it is very difficult to blend, meaning that once the car is painted, you'll have trouble matching the paint if you add stuff, or if someone keys it, etc. One question though. Will the inside door jams, under the hood/trunk, etc get done too?
Anyways... I say go for it. I'd like to think the paint Rousch uses is much better than what Ford factory uses. It should look good.

You trying to blind people???
Anyway, this sounds like it will be interesting to see once you get it done, if you do. Please post pics if you get it done.

If i get it done i am going to have everything done, pretty much have it stripped and have eveything painted including under the hood and everything else.

As long as you are willing to eat the cost and never expect to add that it on to resale. I say go for it!

Andy W. The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?

Make sure you look at a white Contour for a while before you decide to paint yours white. In my humble opinion, white Contours look like a big lump of bread dough. Contours look great in silver or spruce green.

...or torreador red or tropical green

Definitely not WHITE though.

Now the black ones look GREAT at first, but good luck (I.E. impossible) keeping them like that. (or any dark color for that matter )

I'd never buy a black or white car!
I'm even turned off of dark shaded colors after owning our Indigo Blue Metallic Z24. (I.E. again impossible to "keep" looking good!)

there was once a guy in OK, who at one time at least went by the s/n 'duratec dave', who had a white '98+ contour SE w/ the full SVT body kit well before it became "popular" to do it. i think he used rehab'ed bumpers from tim kirk (MY99SVT at the time, later MY03R6...etc.)....might see if you can find a picture of his car. i know he posted 'em at one time, but that was years ago and it may have been long since lost in the "moves" from server to server....
