yah, i figured ATI or nVidia were the best options... I'm all over that in the AGP realm (I have an ATI Radeon 9800 PRO myself)...
just wanted to make sure I haven't been missing anything in PCI-land
the g/f isnt' going to be playing Half-Life2 or Doom3, just wanting to get some better performance for the kids games, etc...
