myfastse, I heard you have experience with the B&M unit as well as this Steeda, I have the B&M currently and am contemplating getting in on this buy. What I'm wondering is how do they compare? I'm perfectly happy with my shifter I have now, but if this is a lot better, I'll spring the funds for it. I'm especially interested in how the throws compare,as far as length, crispness and such. Thanks.

My car was built in January of 99 as a 99...And I do not have that shifter tower!

I am out. I just got a shifter for free so I will take advantage of that and sink the money into my motor. Thanks.

i hate to be a downer as well but i dont think the money is going to be right at this time.

so how much will it be for everything w/ plate and w/o plate and what is the advantage of having this and having it wit the plate and wit out the plate let me know thanks

I think I may take a pass on the Steeda gb. I have no idea what plate I need, there don't appear to be any clear instructions on how to istall, etc.

the install is pretty easy, it took me and my father about an hour, we took our time. but basically you put it back together just like how the stock one comes out. the plate is for floor clearence for the shifter. The instructions that come with the shifter are good also, but you only use one or two parts of them because it is for the Focus

I've got a '99 CSVT and I'll need a plate. I'll get back to you on the type of shifter tower.

i would like to take part in the gb if not too late
98 svt w/ a plate. Im new to the whole group buy thing do we send money to one individual who then sends all the money in to the supplier?
