I haven't the slightest.... but
does it have to be a dealer install?
You can get parts from parts store and any compentent mechanic can install. Access is under rear seat.

Dealerships are always much higher than a chain like Meineke or Goodyear.

To be honest im not sure what the problem is, i just think its the fuel pump. figure take it to ford so they could at least diagnose the problem. When the car is running there is moaning sound coming from the gas cap(like constant venting of air) that can be heard inside the cabin quite clearly. It is very very annoying and i am willing to pay to just have it fixed already.

You might want to spend about $7 to get a replacement gas cap first. See if that's the problem.

Must be that jumbly-wumbly thing happening again.

agreed, get a new cap.

A bad fuel pump will emit a noise, but it will be coming from under the rear seat, passenger's side. Normally sounds like a moan, or a warble.

a telephone call to a dealership will give you a price on just about everything they do..... call up the service dept. and ask for one of the service reps.... tell them what you want done and they can give you a price.. and when they do you can divide that by half and go someplace else and get it done for half price.. their hourly charges are about $150 per hour....

I have tried a new gas cap and the problem still occurs. I have posted many times about this and no one seems to have ever had the symptoms i describe. I didnt want to have to take it to a ford dealer to diagnose the problem but it looks like i may just have to.
