I can have 0 Miles on my 95 'Tour after I take the instrument panel out, and use a small screw driver to readjust my miles

Just broke 70k miles on my early-95 Mystique
edit: by 'early-95' I mean with the analog speedo with the trip reset button on the left side of the guage, next to 0MPH. (can't use the indiglo guages)

Damn. Those of you with sub-40K miles, I take it the Contour isn't your daily driver? Mine is, but I've still got only 45K. It sold to its original owner at the end of 2000/beginning of 2001, and I bought it that September with a little over 9K on the clock. I lived close to work for over a year and a half, but I'm back with the folks again and driving 23 miles each way.

Today I bought a 1996 contour from Ft Meyers FLA advertised on ebay with only 22,154 miles 96 contour (ebay) . It was owned by a retired couple who traded it in for a new Lexus. I waited until the auction ended (reserve not met), called the seller and made a happy deal. They are shipping it to VA and I should receive it within two weeks. This is the second time I've bought a car sight unseen through ebay. The first time turned out very well ("retired" 1999 Crown Vic Police Interceptor) and I hope this time does as well. Low mileage used cars can be terrific bargains! Now I have to get busy ordering headers, lowering springs, intake, Aussie bar, dual exhaust... (Unless you're an enthusiast)
