What else would you suggest that was missing? I'm also in the Steeda group buy, so I didn't list that either.

P&P the heads! I got mine done (chip will be the last thing I do after the SVT LIM c/w 19lb/hr injectors & SVT Cams) our cars go a bit wild after some P&P work. I ended up with 15hp and 10 lbs/ft from this mod alone, but you can really feel it. It was the single biggest gain of any mod I did. I think the next best was the MSDS headers before that, which got my 10hp, and 5 lb/ft.
So go and do it, and just try and take that grin off your face.

Hey Ronan, know of anyone that does a PnP through a core exchange?

I dont I'm afraid. I am in Ireland here, I got mine does cause my head gasket blew, so when the head was off I took it to a guy who prepares rally and race cars. Hes great, and the heads looked so good, I nearly wanted to hang them on my fridge
Its a lot of work, if you can take the heads off yourself, you will drasctically reduce your costs. Try and find someone who does p&p regularily. And good luck with your next mod whatever it is!

I'd do the tuning/chip last and heres why. If you PnP the heads and improve the flow of the intake first then the chip can be calibrated to those improvements. Don't forget about the exhaust system and BTW I voted for tires and rims because the other things are going to cost alot of money and I thought you'd improve the looks next

Well, rims and tires will be in by summer anyway, either through the Rota GB, if we can get ten takers, or through myy uncle, who gets a healthy discount from Tire Rack.

I am going to Greece for two weeks this summer, so that may be the best time to do the heads. At the same time I can have the bupers painted to get rid of the evidence from driving in Jersey.

These are all probably going to get done, it's just the order that I'm wondering about. The 3 liter is stilla maybe, bt nice to think about. If at all, it will be next year. For now,i'm enjoying the sound of the headers.

Did I miss seeing what you are planning to do with it? I'm just asking, because there's lots you could still do about brake upgrades, some of which would go along well with going to 17" wheels, like huge rotors with wilwoods, etc. but if you're not into doing twisties on track days, that might not be a priority.

I already have the brakes i got from Stazi, with SS brake lines, and they work fine. I may take it out on the track, but just for curiosity. I'll paint the stock calipers for now when I get some rims. To me the brakes, for the way I drive would be more an appearance mod. If I'm going to pay to make it look nice, it'll e to slap some fresh paint on my bumpers.

If you are still running a stock SVT catback then you really need to open that biotch up!

I wouldn't mess with anything beyond the y-split back, but I'd run 2.5" cat and piping straight back to the y-split. Inspect the y-split for good flow, replace it if it looks [censored]. The other pipes will be fine for your 2.5".
The resonator should be deleted or replaced with a better design.

This would be a good $400 project and net you some more ponies up top.
Do a baseline dyno run.
Then I'd recommend pulling the heads, P&P with bigger 30mm exhaust valves.
THEN do another dyno run.
THEN get the chip and tune.
Then get nitrous!!!
