That's a gutsy post, and I for one salute you. We're all still learning and it's hard sometimes when what you think is right turns out to be not so right.

I wouldn't say you've been misinformed as much as I think the information you've had has just become outdated by the modern technology. Superchargers were probably the best choice back in the day, but the advances in turbo's and electronic engine managment has negated that edge. It's pretty much a choice of style and tradition now on which is better, turbo's vs. supers for some people.
