So all those 2.2L turbo Dodges, and 2.3L turbo Fords in the 80s were what? Though, I think I know where you might be comming from.
Let me guess Cold...you over 30...over 40? That import domestic comment is either major flame bait or generational thinking. My
opinion on that is most older guys who grew up on V8s have hard ons for superchargers because of tradition and the fact that turbo's have only in the last 20 years become really easy and affordible to use.
Also the displacment of the engine has more bearing on it's sutability for super or turbo than the country it was made. Anything less than 3.0L and a supercharger is not the best option for FI. And Like I said, as you can see in my sig, I'm all turbo irregardless of engine size and origin.
And sorry if you're offended, but for those of us who know the ins and outs of these cars and have been into FI, we know what we speak of. We've been on the boards for a while and we know what's been done and what hasn't and when a newbie comes on saying stuff like that it's just infuriating, and politness can take a backseat to the truth.
Good luck with your CSVT. They're nice cars and with a good exhaust sound super sweet. Put a super or turbo on it so you'd have more HP than my 2.0 Zetec.
