I lived in El Paso for a spell and I'll take 110F dry heat over biting cold weather anyday of the year.

Then again, I've got a friend who used to live in Phoenix, AZ and swore that if given the choice of living in Minot, ND and there, it would be a total toss-up. One extreme from the other pretty much sunk his taste for either...

You probably should mention that this is unseasonably warm; just 4 days ago I was scraping ice off my windshield, and last night it was so foggy from the temp change that I, literally, could not see the exit signs on the freeway and missed my exit. The entire city of Denton which is usually quite bright at night especially at the freeway interchange was entirely invisible from the highway.

But it is a great day for me to wash/wax my 6.

Then move. It is that simple. BTW- I never complained about the heat. I was just trying to make you feel better.

I would not call it unseasonably warm. That would imply its rare that January is warm in Texas. We just have extreme weather changes this time of year. Happens every year.

I just finished cleaning up the W8, checked on the meat, things are looking good. It's been in there about 4.5 hours, about 3.5 more to go.
