Qaz -- Thanks. Actually, my dealership replaced the wiring harness under that Ford "MO3" program, thinking that was the cause of the engine fire. Well, after they carefully inspected the wiring harness once it was removed, they said it was fine and not frayed or worn. So, I've got a new wiring harness, some injectors and a fuel rail but no engine compression. There's metal in the oil and it's varnish-like. It's horrifying.
The truth of the matter is that, from what Bnoon had to say based on my reporting of what happened, my car overheated severely due to my ignorance and heated up so badly that it eventually caught fire. Right where the fuel rail and injectors are. One very, very painful lesson learned.
