Ya it looks good for a day then it gets dirty all over again. If I win the lottery I might just get myself a new paint job!

I looked at a '99 green CSVT over this past summer several times but I kept finding imperfections/issues and the owner had no explaination for any of them so I passed it up. Just when I was ready to give up hope for finding a CSVT for sale in my area I came across a flawless T-Red one so I snatched it up....

I was really only looking for a green or red CSVT....they are the most unique and rare colors

I have to agree on the Green. And the T-Red is just so shiney!!!! But with the deal I got on my Silver Frost... I couldn't wait any more. I like mine cause it doesn't show dirt all that much. And I have always liked silver cars...

Thats a great pic, whats the run down on the 69' Z/28

Unfortunately it's not a Z-28. It's a '69 SS 350 mostly original. It's my dad's, but I helped him restore it. We have the original heads, headers, Carb, intake, etc packaged in our loft. Right now it's running Edelbrock intake, Holley Carb, Hooker headers, and we took heads from a 71 Camaro ported and polished them (had to re-weld the headers after opening those to match cause the exhaust port was so wide), put in new valves, springs, lifters, etc and had them machined .003" to a mirror finish. Has about 11.5:1 compression IIRC. The next step is putting in a roller cam. Should be fun. For a 1969 vehicle, it only has 64,000 miles on her. I love that car. I'll never forget the first time my dad threw me the keys and asked me to take it down the road. I felt like he finally trusted me (this was just at Thanksgiving... I'm 20 ) My plans are to get a '68 RS convertible, and start that project. Man do I love working on the older cars. So much potential, so much easier.
Hers's a couple more pics...
