ooo ... we're competing?
Between my roommate and I:
Power Mac G5 dual-2GHz (triple monitored between two Apple 17" LCDs and one 17" Trinitron )
PowerBook G4 1GHz
PowerBook G4 667
Power Mac G3/300 beige MT (upgraded G4/500)
Power Mac G3/266 beige MT
Power Mac G3/233 beige desktop
PowerBook 3400c/200
AMD Athlon XP 1.8GHz
Pentium II 400MHz
IBM AMD K6 333MHz
... and a couple of 386's that the school decided they no longer wanted
Seven or eight of these are in our approximately 12'x10' room. (Two of the Power Macs are servers elsewhere in the apartment.) To give you an idea of the heat these things generate, I generally wake up to a nice 80° room that can warm up easily to 90° or better by midafternoon when the monitors are on. The electric heat registers in this room are always off, and it's about 2° outside.
Of my five other friends in the rest of the apartment (seven-person apt.), there are five more desktops and one more laptop.
Life is interesting going to a tech school

some reason to me, it looks like you have a 19 inch and a 17 inch in that picture, but a 17 inch isn't posted being on any of those.

Wow, I'm actually whoring my computers instead of my car.....
Ah, I got the easy part and went Wi-Fi instead of wiring a CAT-5 Ethernet cable to each room. I was about to go Cat-5 to each room, but Wi-Fi is way better! But to list my computers in my room: 4 Desktops (one I built, Macintosh G3, Dell Dimension - used as a server, a compaq that I just leave on next to the bed) 5 Laptops (that are in use, Dell Latitude, 2 cheap IBM ThinkPads, Toshiba Satellite for Linux, and a PowerBook G3) Those are just the ones plugged in...

Dude... that's a sweet setup.
I'm not even going to get into the machines I have. Some Suns, a couple SGIs, my gaming PC, couple Apple laptops, laptop for the kids and my Old Mac. Plus some other stuff.

nope the smallest is a 19" in my room.
For everyone else I dont want to talk about all the computers I have, It would scare you, these are my update machines, I see no reason to tell you about the 4-286 , 6-386's, 8 pentium 1's, 2 pentium 3's. because they are pretty much useless in my books. Oh should I count my running Osbourne?

Okay I don't give a rats ass about computers, but if someone can build me a decent machine that looks similar to this that would kick ass!!! Originally posted by Micah: here is the simple mods I have done to the silver case.

House was new construction, so I came in one weekend prior to the builder putting up the sheetrock, and I installed the cable. I figured that the house would only be without sheetrock once, so I wired every room while I had the chance. Fortunately, the builder was really cool about it.
