I'm looking for a set of good subs. Probably a pair of 12s. I want a set of subs that hit hard, but, keep a crisp, clean sound. Any recommendations?

Words of wisdom...
-I'm too old for this sh*t.

I personally like JL Audio for crisp sound. Best I've heard in my opinion. But really any sub will sound good in the right setup and right equipment.

i have two high end eclipses now and about 400 watts rms to each of them. They are incredibally crisp even at high volumes. might be something worth looking at.

I have 2 aw1200 audiobahn 12's and I'm in love. These things are bad. I get a mean drum bass when I play Drowning pool smile . I have a spl checked and I hit a 151. The best part is that they only require .8 cubic feet of airspace so the boxes are relativly small. Leaving much room for a nice amp board.

Adire Audio Shiva
Dayton DVC 12
Blueprint 1201 or 1202
Stryke SAE12
Adire Audio Brahma or Blueprint 1203 if you have more money and wanted the ability to produce huge SPL levels.

I think the Dayton is the best choice for you, but the Adire Shiva is basically the same sub...
