I had something similar before going to a CAI pipe. The IAT temp samples did get back to near ambient with a dryer hose in the airdam, but the CAI got back to ambient much quicker and at a lower speed than your pictured location. Once the battery was relocated and my CAI was made larger (with the 12" long filter), the IAT cleared even quicker.

Do you have IAT readings that you're going by, or is this more theory? EDIT: Duh, nevermind. At what speed and time are your IAT temps returning to near ambient is what I meant to ask...

I'll agree, my BNM CAI isn't the best way offered because most people don't want to pay for the best way. People want 100 horsepower for $10. This is a step closer in that direction compared to the old South County CAI's...
