Now I know there isn't a heatshield in this pictures as it was taken in full winter glory just after some mods but...

You can see the nice cold air duct from a scoop in the front airdam and I can guarantee that my IAT numbers are at ambient when the car is moving.
Tranny heat soak, engine heat soak, radiator heat soak or fans on it makes no difference because the heatshield (when installed) blocks off the entire area above the fender.


Also straight piping is better for NA airflow and creates less turbulence (under pressure it's a fairly moot point)


I'll post a better picture once the plexiglass heatshield is back on (you can see the new 3" intake pipe too) and the engine bay is cleaned up.
Looks almost stock eh???
