Wow, so many questions for such a tried and true CAI design. I'm not reinventing the wheel here guys... This CAI works just as the SCA one did, just as the SMA one did, and just as so many CEGer's ones have done. The only difference is the way I positioned the extra little tubes underneath to hide them a bit better for a cleaner look. The CAI points downward at an angle between the trans/subframe area. The length is long enough to clear the battery tray area to mount the MAF/filter without sticking down below the subframe. Anyone remember my longer one from waaaaaaaaaay back in '99? Color options are endless. If it's not black engine paint, add another $15 and I'll trace down any paint code you want from Duplicolor, or give me a part number for the paint if you know it. All powder coating colors from Buckshot are available, custom powders are also available from http://www.eastwoodcompany.com if you want me to use them. I'll be waiting for #1 to be installed to make sure there aren't any fitment issues, then they will be officially on sale.

I'll be installing this weekend. Too bad UPS tracking is down. My mechanic wants to know when this thing is arriving so he can decide whether to leave the car on the lift or not.
Anyway, I'll post pics here when the tube is installed. I don't know if I'll dyno before the catback is in, because I want to do tuning with all the mods in place and get a chip buned from Streetflight.

Mild steel doesn't polish to well and aluminum heat soaks worse.

Actually, there's the *almost chrome* color and the new *reflective chrome* color powders from Eastwood.
