Club racing might as well be a Mazda benefit. For example, the SVT isn't legal in ITS but the SE is. They'd hate to interrupt the RX7 charity run they've had forever. And what happened when the Z4 started kicking the Miata's ass? Yep, MX5 owners pithced a hissy and had it excluded from the Runoffs.
I'm a member but the SCCA is a joke, and now they're sponsoring drifting! Drifting? It's a judgement sport! The SCCA is for nothing but lining the pockets of certain vested groups. The unfolding Trans-Am debacle proves it.
No wonder NASA is growing like mad.
NASA supports drifting as well, but their classification rules are like farktards. I'm in the same class as Subaru WRXs? So I had to layeth the smacketh down on five of them beeyatches
