Stock.
If your suspension is tired, get new OEM SVT struts, upper strut mounts, and front lower control arms from Bill Jenkins. (Replacement struts will be E1 struts, slightly improved/firmer than your current E0 pieces.) Replace your worn out front and rear swaybar bushings and endlink grommets (if available) with fresh rubber, or get Energy Suspension poly bushings from SP Motorsports. (Rear control arm bushings also available.)
If you want better struts, get the Bilsteins from BAT, but keep your stock springs.
If you want to lower a bit, then the BAT springs or Eibach will be the most comfortable, but you will still sacrifice some comfort no matter what aftermarket spring you choose.
I mean, really, the SVT handled pretty darn well out of the factory, and was actually a bit more comfy than the early SE. Restore it to "like new" condition and I think you'll be pleased.
As mentioned, tires are also a big influence on many aspects of the driving experience. I don't know what to recommend, but if you call the Tire Rack, I'm sure they can help you decide, based on your intended outcome. (Yok AVS ES100?)
