But my point is that he shouldn't have been there. There are signs every mile along 35W that "Left Lane is for Passing Only". This cop was in the left pacing a semi in the right with no intention of moving over, meaning if you wanted to pass you had to go around him. If he had been in the right lane where he should have been since he was not passing I, and the rest of the cars behind me, would have kept cruising along at 73-75mph like always.



And you could have been ticketed just as easily as you were for 78. Point is, there was no entrapment. If the officer was doing the speed limit, why were you passing at all? Because you were speeding.
