This I do not understand, as you should be able to pull a driver over for driving erratically.
As I understand it, if he hadn't been driving with his foglights on, you wouldn't have been able to pull him over even though he was obviously drunk?
You have to find some other reason to pull over an obviously drunk driver?

No, you have mis-read man... At the time we got up behind him he wasn't dricing erratically, so the only reason we pulled him over was because of his foglights on. If he didn't look stoned when we asked for his liscense and insurance he would have been on his way in 2 minutes at most. But he looked stoned, we could smell alcohol, and he had a 30 pack and a 6 pack of beer in the car with neither of them over 21. -Nick
