In his patrol car?
If so, would it bother you as much if it was Joe Schmo in his Accord?
Obviously there is no topic to this thread if it keeps getting thrown around like this... My point was that police officers think that just because they have that patrol car and a uniform that they can go and do all the things that every non law enforcing person can't do... The speeding, no seatbelt, limo tinted windows... These may seam small, but it's like having a teacher telling kids they can't smoke on school property, but then going out back after school hours and lighting one up.. The law extends to everyone on the road, and yes there will be people that speed and cause problems, but to be an officer and to do it for no reason is just silly.. I don't know how many times I'll be driving at night and have a squad car just storm up behind me, match my speed, not pass me even though it's a 4 lane highway, then turn off 5 miles later after he notices that I'm NOT doing anything wrong. Oh well, there will always be debate on this topic, Im not saying anyone is right or wrong. I see things that sandman, horse, and 1314 say that I believe to be valid points, but some I don't agree with at all... Guess it's a crime to have an opinion these days too.
