no one is "tricking" anyone into breaking the law. Time to take some personal responsibility for your actions. Stop blaming everyone else for your mistakes. This is what is wrong with our society today. It's always someone else's fault.
I don't think any rhetoric you could give, Sandman, least of all the whole "it's your own fault" drift, is going to convince a single damn person on this site to ignore the fact that there are just as many bad and jicky cops out there as there are bad and jicky people doing other jobs.
Bottom-line is cops do harass and cops do make mistakes. I do the same in my own job--it's only human--however the difference is I don't carry a gun while doing it. I understand the kind of work you guys do is absolutely necessary and most of the time thankless and works for the goal of protecting a society in which someone like myself can be writing his opinion on a message board such as this, however it's just a fact of life that most people see cops as the instrument for robbing away their freedoms.
Most of us are just tired of it.
