OP CleverMonkey New CEG\'er C Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 28	This is a general kind of question for my knowledge if someone doesn't mind giving their input. After getting some tire spin on the ice yesterday i noticed a clutch burning smell. I've always wonderd why if the clutch is contacting with the flywheel properly and the 2 are not slipping against each other, what causes the clutch smell? Is it just the wheels spinning to quick, and overheating the tranny in general? A friend had suggested to me too that it could have been the smell of the tires heating up against the ice as they spun.
