Mine doesn't, which I originally attributed to the fact that I just have the glorified fleet-tour. It seems to be one of the few features that was added post-'98. I personally fill up between 1/2 and 1/4 tank, at the soonest convenient time. I've never gotten more than 12.5 gallons at once. 1995 Contour GL 2.0L ATX- Teal Metallic+Grey Int. ebean CEG\'er E Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 51 SoCal, USA	not only is there no light in my 97 GL the gauge dosn't work right. it never reads higher than 1/2 tank and i've never run out of gas because I fill up at 250 miles( takes about 9.75 gals to refill) maybe I should run her dry and see how far I can go. 97 GL no mods just crashed
