I currently have a SQ setup and am looking at different ways to build a new enclosure....Currently I have the subs facing the front, which works for me. Although I feel I'm loosing some low end bass by doing this.
What are your thoughs?

This is pretty similar to what I had. If you had your subs mounted facing the rear seat without modifying the rear seat, this method will probably gain you a dB or so. If you had the subs facing the rear, you might lose a dB. I found it to be the perfect location for my listening tastes.
