Good news is:
Time to do my civic duty. I got a Jury summons in the mail yesterday.
Bad news is:
It is for the 29th of March. I'm gonna have to re-arrange my travel plans if possible, or re-schedule for the next Dragon run.
I'll let you know...

Selected or not, I have to show up at 8:00 am on the 29th - the day I was supposed to be in Nashville, so things are screwed up. I'll try to take off early in the week - Wednesday, & start my getaway with the visit to Nashville. Then I'll tool about with you CEGers on Friday & Saturday.

My dad told me one of his frat brothers dressed like the Grim Reaper and never even got asked a question! He was dismissed from jury duty right away. Give that a shot.

Like I said before, serving is not the problem. Whether I serve on the jury or not, I still HAVE to show up on the 29th at 8:00 am for the selection process.
I will not be able to change my plans, but I may have a legal option to postpone service - I'll look into that.
