You've got a few options to choose from:

(1) Standard sub enclosure. Just make it easily removable when trunk space is needed.

(2) Glass a sub or two in the rear corners of the trunk. But, it's difficult for DIY and $$$ to have a shop do it.

(3) You can mount some subs underneath the rear deck. You can fit up to (3) 8" subs mounted to the bottom of the deck in free-air mode. You could also come up with some other custom enclosures for mounting underneath the rear deck.

How about getting rid of your spare and using the tire well as an "enclosure". That was something recommended to me a while back.

Are you looking for ideas for yourself or just want to know who has what?

Here\'s mine. For better stealth factor, I'd have to move the CD changer and fix my wires.

This is the setup I have, I've got two 10" JL Audio drivers in a 1.5 cu.ft. fiberglass enclosure, molded to my spare tire well... Everything fits under the stock carpet and the whole trunk floor is raised about 1" only... I have pics of the install "in progress" if you're interested, it's not completed yet.

That's basically what i had except I used sonotube rather than fiberglass because I am a cheap *******. When the carpet was laying over everything, the subs/amp/crossover/EQ were undetectable.

BigMoneyRacing should have a nice little stealth install in the near future with his 2 8" JLs mounted free air.

Cell phones, Richard!

I think Dave did not have a spare in his car. My brother has a similar setup in his car (sub in spare well) and he kept his spare.

Tried a cell phone, but it did not roll as well as the spare tire. (Even though I had plenty of "AIR TIME" on it) laugh
