You guys really need to chill. Anyway, I know for a fact that my copy of Visio is at my parent's house. I'll pick it up tomorrow and hopefully have a schematic posted before midnight.

With no load, this circuit is capable of putting out 200 Volts at 5 amps!! This WILL knock you on your a$$ if you don't know what you're doing. With that siad, this is not for beginners.

I'll get my copy of Visio and my digital camera from my parents tomorrow. I'll post pictures of both my guages and of the power supply, inside and out.

The circuit is fairly simple. It uses a 555 timer, a handful of transistors, and a couple of transformers.

I will probably regret saying this but... If I decided to make these, would anyone be willing to but one? I'm not really sure how much that it could cost to build just yet. I'm guessing less than $100 but more than $50.

And keep your f'n pants on!!!

Later,
Ben

I am not a beginner but I am far from expert. Please post pics of the setup and maybe (if possible) pics of a step by step thing.....I am a very visual person. And of course the basics like list of tools and parts and I ready to give this a shot

and yes.....if I end up F***ing it up I may be willing to pay some money. Depending on turnaround

Thanks for you hard work too

Ok...I love the needles so much I'm in the process of doing mine:

It's not finished yet but I thought I post these anyway:

I got the indiglos turned down in these pics so U can see the blue needles better.

Sorry about the crappy pics, it's -39c out at the moment.
I'll post better pics when I'm finished...and it's a bit warmer.

Those blue needles look pretty slick. I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one with light bleeding through the edges. I've been thinking about covering the back of the black guage bezel with black felt to block out that bleed through. Anyway...

The good news: I picked up Visio tonight. Also, I stomped a Celica on my way to get it. The idiot tried to race me with snow on the ground. Moron! I love my BFG Control TA M80's.

The bad news: No camera until next week. My dad has to use it for some "Project". ...right...the only thing that I saw him working on was a beer.
