hey i had the same question, I recently had a Sony Xplod MP3 deck installed by Best Buy and heard talk in here that the factory amp should be bypassed. I went to best buy yesterday to figure out what they did. They told me not to bypass the amp because either the stereo wouldn't work or it will heat up too much. ?!?!?!?!? I don't know...help?!?
