Depends, it really isn't that hard to do and is a very cheap way to pick up 2-3hp. If I had a manual tranny, I would optimize mine. I'm pretty sure someone dynoed a 2-3hp increase throughout the powerband, but you have to remember that's enough to be difference in weather between two runs...
