Just so you guys aren't wondering, mine are the stock replacement 893's which are 38w. I contacted Sylvania and they instructed me to send the bulbs in to them and they will take a look at the old ones and send me out some new ones to try! If any of you are having problems let Sylvania know and they might actually take a look at the problem!

Did you notice them blow? Or were they already blown for a while before you noticed?

Time and again I see this. Yes, it Could be the bulb, but as in the case of most low mounted fogs, be careful not to SHAKE them dead. Like not going over Railroad tracks at 40 or avoiding potholes. My Dad doesn't get it why his bulbs have gone again...he doesn't slow for bad tracks.
If you see how much movement there is in the bumper and imagine now going fast over bumps, it's quite easy for them to blow.

OK, the passenger side fog light lasted about 2 days.

And I just noticed the headlights are two different "shades" of silver.

I'm gonna see if murrays where I bought them will exchange the fog and call sylvania too. But I would say as of now I am NOT a satisfied customer.

Results of a study I read some time ago stated that packaged bulb filaments suffer tremendous G-load abuse due to shipping, handling, etc.... Just watch what a cashier does during checkout......

Since halogen bulbs fail more easily due to vibration, could the abuse suffered prior to purchase be a contributing factor?....my $.02...

Call or write Sylvania!
I called them and they said they we're having problems with the 893ST lights. They're gonna send me a new set!
