Hello everyone,
I am getting some parts made in Carbon fiber, and we would like to offer a group buy. What I am getting made here is two things. One a factory style(at least for now) carbon fiber hood. Also true carbon fiber a pillar guage pod and matching piece for the other side of the car. All pieces will come clear coated from the factory, so all you will have to do is install. I know people have had bad luck w/ previous hood group buys, but I can assure you this will go better. For one the mold is made in house, and I am paying for it up front. They will have a factory hood at there shop some time next week, and the mold will be made approx. two weeks after that. Thats right only two weeks. Than hoods can get made and shipped. As far as hoods go they offer two types of construction. True carbon fiber all the way through, or a carbon fiber sandwhich plate w/ fiberglass in the middle (most common).

(Includes 3 2-1/16 guage pod for driver side
and passenger side factory piece) $300
Carbon fiber composite hood $500

Just to give you an idea of what there capable of, they make a lot of Porsche and Bmw parts, including complete dash's and complete doors (for race cars of course). Feel free to ask any question and I will get them answered!

lol, sorry, It looks tight, but what about the rest of the interior. Might push a persion to pure insanity with all CF. Besides, the dash is covered not made of CF. The hood, I would be up for as I missed the last GB, How good would a black car with a black CF look. WAY BETTER THEN A COLORED OR WHITE CAR WITH ONE!

Wow, that's some high prices,, but if prices drop if enough people get in on it, they could be better i reckon. I would love to have those a-pillars, but no way can i afford it.

I know guys anything is possible to get made but first thing first. Ya I know what ya mean about price but once we get the first one off the ground, the rest will follow. Remember this is for two seperate group buys. You can choose what one you want. Than we can move on to other things.

Who said anything about a dash. Were not getting that far a ahead of ourselves yet. We are planning on making other parts but we need to get started on other things first. The A pillars will not be covered, they will be true carbon fiber all the way through. I swear! I don't see any rice anywere

Right now we guess the hood to weigh some were around 10-15lbs. As far as paint goes, I am pretty sure you can. I will get a firm answer on that for you.

Just to add a few things, this is for the 98-00 contours. If there is intrest we can do the earlier style as well. Just so you know its all hand laid carbon fiber.
