i would get me an 85-87 mr2 or something with a turbo. mayeb an old school supra turbo or starion. or even a corolla gts hatch if it has a body in good condition, easy engine to work on same as mr2.

The 4.0L engines are known to cracking of the heads between the valve ports. I know...I have one, and 140,000km they both went...costing me a new engine. If you got $2000.00 to spend save it...don't bye Domestic...unless you like spending more time fixing your car than driving it!
