Well, if you just add the SVT car to your insurance and keep the other one as a daily driver it might not be so bad. Mine added about 220 bucks a year to my insurance. I am paying about 1100 a year on my truck, full coverage and I drive a lot of miles. The Contour is my "Sunday driver" so it added very little to my bill. Even though the VIN will give the car away as being from SVT, here in California at least, it's still considered a sedan. I have insurance through GMAC. Maybe California isn't so bad after all!
