The places I've lived:

BC: Most definitely POP
California: Depending on where, it could be soda, pop, or 'cokes'. Soda where I lived.
Washington: Pop, for sure.

I find myself using soda and pop interchangeably, more often on the pop side, though.

Up here, we call it pop.

Yep, pretty much the way it is. On a side note, I still don't understand why there is no sweet tea up north.

What is sweet tea? Soda is the way to be.

Sweet tea is when you take nasty non-sweet tea and make it taste good. I hope I never have to move up north.

Exactly! And you can't get a glass of tea and add sugar. You have to do it when you first brew it when it's still hot. That way it desolves better. I still remember going to a restaurant in Indiana and asking for sweet tea. The waitress said "there is sugar on the table". Not even close to the real thing.

You southerners! :) I like the fake chemical injected teas myself. Lipton rasberry tea is the greatest.
