Up in Canada... It's pop. Never met a Canadian who called it soda. First time I ever herd anyone even say soda was in the states.

Yeah, not true, in Northern CA, where I spent 23 years, it was called soda.
I have lived here the majority of my life in urban environments. Be it Sacramento inner city or San Jose - Santa Clara area.
Brian, arent you from North Bay (Santa Rosa area), if so its a more urban term here in Cali as when traveling to smaller towns you get the SODA term often.
Southern cali here-- Coke NEVER HAVE I USED POP- SOUNDS A LITTLE COUNTRY- maybe 5 times i used soda, Of course we are home of the fruits and nuts

um...I have lived/stay for long periods of time in -Los angeles,lynwood,inglewood,compton,watts,anaheim,buena park,orange,garden grove,la mirada,fullerton,cypress,cerritos
and in all these area's...basically All of LA and Orange county its called SODA......MAYBE u'll get asked "wanna coke or something"
