Checked the relay, the fuse and it was all good. It ended up being a resistor and my high speed fan problem was solved. Unfortunately when we removed the plastic shield under the rad as we were changing the resistor we noticed it was leaking coolant from the passenger side of the rad, from the left tank. Now I have to change the rad. My car only has 77000kms any idea why this would have happened.
If there is no visible damage, I would guess you plain and simple got a weak one from the factory. I am sure they replaced the coolant when they did the engine swap, so I can't imagine it being anything related to crud in the system. Erik
