http://www.abpco.com/AC-DC_PFC_Converter.html

the model you would want would probably be the ABP.AC.12.1600W/M-PFC no prices listed but it'll be a lot!

They are JL 12W6 dual 6 ohm running in parrallel. So it is at a 3 ohm load and is already in a sealed box. The box was built to spec from my loacl installer. I know it would be better if I had a ported enclosure, but I'll live with what I have. I sent an email inquiring on the price of those invertors you listed, both the 12 volt and the adjustable 10v - 26v. Thanks for the info. Thx!

for the cost of a quality inverter, you're better off just selling your amp and getting a home amp. Something like two plate amps Dave mentioned or a rack component.

OK, do you guys know who makes some good plate amps? I don't have a clue, but would like a 800w amp or so. The box I have only has 1 input for wires, not one to each sub. Do plate amps plug into the wall-outlet or would I still need the inverter to make this work. Thx!

Plate amps plug into the wall and unless you open you box to get another set of wires out, I suggest a rack amp.

Somthing like this will do.
